I'm Xuli, an artist & creative director based in Berlin.

My work moves between construction and destruction: experimental calligraphy is my starting point, lines that break, overlap and resurface, structure pulled against raw instinct. I treat contrast as material, not as something to resolve. That same instinct carries directly into my work as a creative director: I approach visual systems not as decoration but as a language that can be broken apart, compressed and rebuilt, for brands, artists and projects willing to take a risk.

The practice begins in the studio, in calligraphy, drawing and direct mark-making, and extends from there into applied and commissioned contexts: onto vehicles and walls, into album artwork and limited fashion collections, across murals, interiors and campaigns. As creative director, I carry that same visual handwriting into larger frameworks, from first idea through to consistent execution across multiple surfaces and formats, without the work losing its edge or instinct.

Studio work and exhibitions ongoing. Open to select collaborations that let this visual system live across more than one surface.
